The Oregon Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) is sending out this formal Request For Presentations (RFP) for the 21st Annual Winter Weather Forecast Conference to be held at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, October 26th 2013 at 10am. This annual conference is the single largest forecast conference of its kind in the Pacific Northwest and is attended each year by a capacity crowd of 350. Both AMS and non-AMS members will be considered. This year we will feature four (4) winter weather forecast speaking slots. Other non-forecasting presentations in the fields of meteorology, earth and atmospheric sciences will also be considered, as time allows. Please feel free to forward this RFP to colleagues.
