Weathercaster Survey

A new study from the Center for Climate Change Communication at George Mason University (the folks who produce Climate Matters—a science-based, localized climate reporting resource program for TV weathercasters) finds that the proportion of weathercasters who say they have informed their viewers about the local impacts of climate change has increased dramatically since 2017. Learn about changes in the views and reporting practices of TV weathercasters in the .

 

AMS Student Opportunities

We are looking for dependable undergraduate student members to work directly with AMS staff members assisting in moderating sessions for the virtual elements of the 101st AMS Annual Meeting. While not working, Student Assistants can present their own work, network, attend sessions, visit the virtual exhibits, and access all the virtual elements of the 101st Annual Meeting for free!
