Spotlight:
MESSAGE FROM ACTING PRESIDENT ROGER WAKIMOTO
It is with great humility that I accept the challenge as your acting President at a time of tremendous loss from our meteorological family. Matthew J. Parker was an excellent scientist, a skilled administrator, and a good friend. I will do everything in my power to ensure that Matt’s vision for the year, culminating in the Annual Meeting in Austin, is fulfilled. This is shaping up to be a challenging year for the entire U.S. research and development enterprise based on early discussions in Washington D.C. However, the AMS and the entire community remains strong, and most importantly, increasingly relevant to the health of the nation’s economy and security.
I look forward to working with all of you in the coming months. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions/comments or wish to volunteer your time and effort in service to the Society.

What's New?
IMPROVED DIGITAL BAMS

BAMS Digital Edition provides AMS members with all the features of the print edition right on a desktop PC or mobile device. An improved reading experience allows members to read BAMS in Page View, which is an online replica of the print version of BAMS, or in text-based Content View. Both views offer improved zoom features, making for easier reading.
