Nominations are Open!
AMS encourages all our members and friends to submit nominations for consideration for AMS Awards, Honorary Membership, Fellows, and Lecturers. Each year AMS honors individuals, teams of people, and institutions for their outstanding contributions to the atmospheric and related sciences, and to the application of those sciences.
We appreciate all nominations; this year we particularly hope to see the growing diversity of the weather, water, and climate community reflected in nominations submitted for women and underrepresented minorities. If you have observed worthy contributions by any
of your colleagues, please take the time to submit a nomination, so we can recognize the excellent work being accomplished across our community. Deadline for nominations is 1 May 2019.
