Heather Waldman is an AMS and NWA certified broadcast meteorologist in the Bay Area.
She most recently spent 5 years at WGRZ, the NBC affiliate in Buffalo, NY as the evening meteorologist. While in Western New York, Heather paved the way for reporting on the effects of climate change in the area and regularly showed viewers that “It’s Good to Be a Geek!” with her weekly Heather’s Weather Whys segment.
Before moving to Buffalo, Heather spent three years with AccuWeather where she delivered forecasts for clients all over the U.S. and also made live appearances on several national networks including the Big Ten Network and Fox Business. Heather earned both her B.S. in meteorology and B.A. in telecommunications from Penn State University. Heather enjoys all that the weather has to offer as an avid runner, cyclist, hiker and skier. When conditions are too intense outside (rare, but it happens) you can find her watching college football or reading and snuggling up with her big cat, Albus.
