We're pleased to organize a Special Symposium on Forecasting a Continuum of Environmental Threats, or FACETs, in conjunction with the 103rd AMS Annual Meeting to be held in Denver, CO in January 2023! Please join us for an exciting conference program, including joint sessions with the 18th Symposium on Societal Practice and 5th Special Symposium on Tropical Cyclones!

AMS Statement on Weather Analysis and Forecasting

During 2021, representatives from all subdisciplines of meteorology and members of the Committee on Weather Analysis and Forecasting collaborated to revise the AMS Statement on Weather Analysis and Forecasting. After an open comment period by the AMS membership-at-large and a review by the AMS Council, the revised statement was approved and took effect in early 2022!
