Dues Waiver Program

Who is eligible?

Our dues waiver program is available to assist those in the weather, water, and climate community who have lost their job due to budgetary cuts made by the U.S. federal government in 2025. It is available to both new members and those who have not yet renewed their membership for 2025. 

How does it work?
  • Participants need to complete and submit a form agreeing to the terms of the program.
  • Once AMS receives the completed form, the request is reviewed by AMS membership staff.
  • Upon review by staff, the participant will be provided with a discount code and instructions on how to join AMS or renew their current membership. 
Details

Approved participants will receive a 100% discount on dues for the 2025 membership year.

PLEASE NOTE: Dues waivers will not cannot be applied to dues previously paid to AMS.
