How to Apply for a DataStreme Course

Some quick notes about the Spring 2025 semester:

  • Applications for Spring 2025 will open on 4 October and will be accepted until 15 November 2025.
    • During that period, return to this page to complete the application. Decision notifications will be sent to all applicants on, or shortly after, 9 December.
  • All three courses will be offered: Atmosphere, Ocean, and Earth's Climate System.
  • The courses will be completely free (no fees), thanks to support from NOAA.
  • Each course will have up to 35 participants.
  • For alumni: Some aspects of the program have been changed since last year (but not since last semester), mostly in regard to the application process and organization of mentors. Please read all notices you receive carefully.
