We bring together scientists, professionals, students, authors, educators, researchers, and weather enthusiasts from around the world to share their expertise and collaborate.

Advancement

We offer certification programs, online learning, and other professional development opportunities so that our members can learn, grow, and succeed.

Anjuli Bamzai
AMS President

It is a great honor and privilege to be the AMS President. With its goal to serve society through science and policy, AMS is poised to make major headway on the grand challenge of our times: the future ability of life on our planet to thrive. As your President, I will work with the AMS executive leadership, Council, and Committee members to prioritize and tackle the challenges facing our members as we all work to improve understanding of weather and climate and use that understanding to solve real-world problems.
