I was born in a coastal place in the Kerala state of India. In my childhood I have seen dark and thick clouds coming from the sea and producing continuous rains in my place. I was very curious to know about the clouds and atmosphere from my childhood.
Later I could study meteorology in M.Sc from the Cochin University of Science and Technology and I have completed my Ph.D from the Goa University in Marine Meteorology and finally I have got a job as an Assistant Professor of Meteorology at the UAS, Dharwad.

Does your job allow for a good work/life balance? If not, why?
Not actually, because of various reasons first of all reduced salary. I am finding it is difficult to manage my monthly budget in terms of my income and expenditure.
Over the course of your career what is the most exciting thing that has happened to you?
I have been selected as an Assistant Professor of Meteorology.
Is there anything you wish you had done differently in your career?
I have implemented large scale climate data analysis in my university.

Practical knowledge in large scale data analysis.
