AMS Election Information

Voting for the 2025 AMS President-Elect (President in 2026) and Council opens 10 September, 2024. The elected leaders of AMS are charged with advancing AMS’s goals in the areas of weather, water and climate. We value and appreciate your vote.

AMS members elect our President-elect and AMS Council representatives each fall, each for a three-year term. The ballot includes candidates put forward by the AMS Nominating Committee as well as "petition" candidates.
