Conference Excursion – Ben & Jerry’s and the Stowe Recreation Path

A stop at iconic Ben & Jerry’s for the Factory Tour offers the opportunity to learn about their ice cream manufacturing process, business practices, and most importantly, a sample at the end of the tour! There is also a Scoop Shop on site where you can enjoy your favorite flavor, or try a new one. Cap off your visit with a walk through the Flavor Graveyard and pay your respects to the dearly de-pinted flavors of years past.

The Stowe Recreation Path is an internationally recognized greenway stretching from Stowe Village to Top Notch Resort on the Mountain Road, and is one of the most popular recreation assets in Stowe. The 5.3 paved trail (one-way) is full of activities for everyone!  Looking to be active? The path is open to walkers, runners, roller bladers, bicyclists, and also has spots for swimming.  There are multiple bike rental locations throughout the path, and as well as skate rentals. Looking for something more low-key?  The Rec Path features attractive bridges, picnic tables, as well as many quiet spots to take in the beautiful views of Stowe.
