AgForest Call for Papers

The 36th Conference on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology is hosted by the American Meteorological Society and organized by the AMS Committee on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology.

While papers are solicited on all aspects of ecosystem-atmosphere interactions, potential topics to consider include:

  • Advancements in Materials and Methods of In-Situ, Modeling, and Remote Sensing Measurements;
  • AgMet Session ISU;
  • Bridging the Methodologies of Agricultural and Forest Meteorology Using Measurements or Modeling of Biophysical Processes;
  • Flow Through Forest Canopies or Complex Topography: From Biometeorology to Wildfires;
  • Novel Approaches to Surface Exchange Measurements;
  • Radiative Fluxes in Forest and Agricultural Systems;
  • The influence of clouds on local land-atmosphere interactions, energy fluxes, and boundary layer structure;
  • Untangling Agriculture, Weather, and Climate Interactions

Please submit your abstract electronically via the AMS conference website by 5 December 2024 (see the website for instructions). The abstract submission fee of $120 USD is charged at the time of submission and refundable only if the abstract is not accepted. Authors of accepted presentations will be notified via email by the end of February 2025
