Accommodations

Attendees were responsible for making their own hotel arrangements.  All meeting sessions for the conferences were held at The Holiday Inn by the Bay - Portland, Maine, at 88 Spring Street, Portland, Maine 04101.

We urged attendees to book a hotel room at The Holiday Inn by the Bay - Portland, Maine as revenue from sleeping rooms helps offset other meeting costs and is passed down to attendees in keeping registration rates to a minimum.

A block of rooms had been reserved at the hotel for meeting attendees at the special rate of $145.00 single/double plus tax   

Government Per Diem Rate:  A limited number of guestrooms was offered on a first-come first-serve basis at the prevailing federal government per diem (Government ID must be presented at check-in) rate of $109.00 single/double plus tax for those who qualified.

Driving Directions from Portland International Jetport:

Head northwest on International Parkway toward Jetport Boulevard, and turn right onto Congress Street. Turn right onto State Street, then turn left onto Spring Street. The Holiday Inn by the Bay - Portland, Maine will be on the left.

Driving Directions from The Amtrak Downeaster:

Head north toward Thompsons Point, and turn right at the 1st cross street onto Thompsons Point. Turn right onto Fore River Parkway, and use the right lane to take the ramp onto I-295 North.Take exit 6A to merge onto Forest Avenue toward ME-100 South. Turn right onto State Street, then turn left onto Spring Street. The Holiday Inn by the Bay - Portland, Maine will be on the right.
