The AMS Middle Atmosphere committee will be hosting a networking reception on Tuesday evening oriented at encouraging direct conversations between students/early career researchers (ECRs) and more senior researchers. The event will provide ECRs with the unique opportunity to seek advice on career development and to promote DEIA principles within the Middle Atmosphere scientific community. In addition to benefiting ECRs directly, we anticipate that new avenues of dialogue will be initiated that will be of value to the entire Middle Atmosphere community, drawing from topics ranging from the future state of Middle Atmosphere research to research applications to other Earth Science fields. This evening reception will naturally complement a panel session held earlier during the day devoted to the future state of Middle Atmosphere research. Please RSVP for this event during registration.
