Location

The 24th Conference on Atmospheric and Oceanic Fluid Dynamics & 22nd Conference on Middle Atmosphere will take place at the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain (soon to be the Hotel Champlain) in Burlington, VT.

All meeting sessions for the conferences will be held at the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain at 60 Battery St, Burlington, VT 05401.

 

The Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain has self-parking available for $16/day (valet parking - $30/day). Other options within walking distance of the hotel can be found on the City of Burlington's website.

For attendees with a reservation at the conference hotel (Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain), you will receive one $10 dining voucher per night. These vouchers can be redeemed at the Lily May’s Coffee and Cafe on the Mezzanine level (directly above lobby). Please present the voucher to a staff member when making a purchase at the cafe. Accommodations

Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. We urge you to book your hotel room at the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain as revenue from sleeping rooms helps offset other meeting costs and is passed down to attendees in keeping registration rates to a minimum.

**Please note that the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain is in the process of transitioning to Hotel Champlain, a Curio Collection Hotel by Hilton. This transition is scheduled to be completed in spring/summer 2024. This should not impact your reservation, but please be aware that a hotel name change may occur prior to the June 2024 meeting.**

A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel for meeting attendees at the special rate of $249.00 plus tax and fees and a group of rooms was at the government per diem* ($187.00) plus tax and fees for those who qualify.  Rates do not include applicable taxes (11%), services, or Hotel-specific fees, like the Daily Mandatory Charge. The Daily Mandatory Charge is $25.00 per night and includes premium WiFi; daily $10 Food and Beverage credit; fitness classes; sports equipment; beverage pantries; 1 ECHO museum ticket (by request). Other fees required include a $1 service charge and a $2.50 Destination Marketing Fee.

Cancellation Policy

Reservation must be cancelled 48 hours before 4 pm arrival time to avoid one night room and tax penalty.

Please note that rooms are available at the AMS rate on a space available basis until this date. To ensure you are able to make a reservation at the AMS rate, we recommend you book as soon as possible.
