If you’re a student interested in and or currently studying the field of weather, water, and climate, attending an AMS meeting is an essential and important step in your career path.
AMS wants to help you attend our meetings – we offer several support opportunities to make this possible:
Volunteer students are needed for registration and audio/visual support throughout the conference. Volunteers are required to be in attendance the entire conference, and must be available to work at least a full day from Monday through Friday. In exchange for volunteering, students receive one free conference registration, plus $40.00 per day worked for food allowance. This program is offered on a first come, first served basis. A limited number of students will be needed for the conference. Interested? Please contact Christine Card ([email protected]).
*All Student Assistant positions have been filled. To be placed on the waitlist, please contact Christine Card.
