Location

The 51st Conference on Broadcast Meteorology/Seventh Conference on Weather Warnings and Communication will take place in Myrtle Beach, SC!  All meeting sessions for the conferences will be held at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront at 3200 S Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Accommodations

Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. We urge you to book your hotel room at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront as revenue from sleeping rooms helps offset other meeting costs and is passed down to attendees in keeping registration rates to a minimum.

A block of rooms was reserved at the hotel for meeting attendees at the special rate of $228.00 plus tax.  Rates do not include applicable taxes, services, or Hotel-specific fees. The cutoff date to make reservations is Friday, May 3, 2024, so make sure you before then!

A deposit is required when making a reservation.   The deposit is one night room and tax.  Upon check-in you will be responsible for the remaining balance of your stay which includes the remaining nightly guestroom rate, daily resort fee (included in the $228 rate), 12% tax AND a $50 per day incidental charge.   The incidental charge will be collected at check-in.   If you use a credit card for the incidental charge, it is just a hold and will be release 3 – 5 business days after check-out if no incidentals were charged.  If you use a debit card for the incidental charge, the funds will be debited from your account and will be refunded 3 – 5 business days after check-out if no incidentals were charged.
