You can attend the 2025 Science Policy Colloquium through three avenues:
1) Register as a Paying Attendee
The $4,700 tuition fee includes all sessions, workshops, tours/briefings, and materials. Please note: the tuition fee does not include room and board or travel.
If you do not have an AMS account you will be prompted to create one before registering (Note: there is no charge to create an AMS account). Those applying for financial support or for the Hooke Fellowship should not register as a paying attendee.
Registration is open until April 15, 2025 or until capacity is reached. If it is after April 15 and you are interested in registering, please email [email protected].
Cancellation policy: Those registered may cancel their registration up until and through May 18, 2025 and refunds will be granted. After May 18 through the start of the meeting, the refund for a cancellation will be 50% of the tuition fee. Please email [email protected] with questions or to request the cancellation.
Registration for the 2025 Science Policy Colloquium will open in late 2024.
2) Financial Support for Graduate Students and HBCU/MSI Faculty
A limited number of graduate students and faculty will be awarded full financial support, based on a national competition. Those seeking this funding must apply by March 1, 2025. If you are applying for financial support, you need not register separately.
3) The Hooke Fellowship in Policy and Leadership
The William (Bill) Hooke Fellowship for Policy and Leadership is a competitive award for scientists and professionals who possess exceptional aptitude for and commitment to advancing public interest. Recipients of this fellowship attend the AMS Science Policy Colloquium in the year of their selection. The standard costs of attending the Colloquium, including tuition and travel support, are covered as part of the award. Apply by March 1, 2025. If you are applying for the fellowship, you need not register separately.
