The 49th Conference on Broadcast Meteorology was organized by the Board on Broadcast Meteorology and hosted by the American Meteorological Society. The Sixth Conference on Weather Warnings and Communication was organized by the Board on Societal Impacts and hosted by the American Meteorological Society. The 49th Conference on Broadcast Meteorology Chairs are Shel Winkley ([email protected]) and Brandon Rector ([email protected]). The Sixth Conference on Weather Warnings and Communication Chairs are Robbie Berg ([email protected]) and Jennifer Spinney ([email protected]).
There were several sponsorship opportunities available at the 49th Conference on Broadcast Meteorology/Sixth Conference on Weather Warnings and Communication. All sponsors received recognition on the conference website, conference program and signage at event sponsored.
All attendees must register to attend the conference. Registration must be completed online. Everyone presenting (both oral and poster) and/or attending must be registered. Be sure to register by 05/10/22 in order to receive the lower registration rate.

This in-person short course was on Tuesday 14 June from 12:30-4:30pm. It included three experts sharing their experiences and knowledge on how to tailor climate change messaging, including for faith communities and conservative markets.
