Advancing the Future of Autonomous Transportation through Weather Intelligence at the Automated Vehicles & Meteorology Summit
The Automated Vehicles & Meteorology Summit is a dedicated forum that brings together scientists, engineers, policy makers, industry specialists, and practitioners involved in research and implementation of transportation weather solutions for the autonomous vehicles sector. Our mission is to facilitate discussions on recent research findings, emerging practices, and innovative approaches that span operational activities, long-term planning, and policy making.
By attending the Automated Vehicles & Meteorology Summit, you will:
1. Identify recent research findings relevant for the autonomous transportation industry, particularly in the context of transportation weather.
2. Advance ways to effectively manage weather risks faced by the autonomous transportation sector.
3. Enhance coordination and collaboration between experts in weather research and the autonomous transportation industry, leveraging their collective experience to drive innovation and progress.
Join us at the Automated Vehicles & Meteorology Summit as we collectively strive across the public, private, and academic sectors to advance weather solutions for the future of autonomous transportation. Together, we can shape a safer, more efficient, and sustainable autonomous transportation landscape.
The Automated Vehicles & Meteorology Summit is organized by the Commission on the Weather, Water, and Climate Enterprise (CWWCE) and hosted by the American Meteorological Society and cosponsored by the Transportation Research Board.
Sponsorship opportunities will be available soon. Interested companies and organizations should contact Adam Kelly.
All attendees must register to attend the conference.

Registration rates are the same for in-person and virtual participants. We made this decision so that we can offer a robust, flexible, and equitable experience for everyone, whether you are in-person or virtual. Other factors involved include:
Increased costs for the in-person experience (audiovisual expenses, food and beverage costs, facility rental, on-site labor, travel costs, health and safety protocols etc.)
Increased costs for the remote experience (internet and hardware for live streaming, software for messaging and chat, labor, etc.)
It makes it easier for attendees to change their registration method from in-person to virtual and vice versa
It allows presenters the opportunity to present/facilitate discussion in-person or virtually with an in-person and virtual audience.
