GEO-CVD is a two-day science policy workshop hosted by AMS alongside other Earth science societies. Participants will learn about Congress and build relationships between AMS and Congressional offices, which will help ensure that Members of Congress and their staffs have access to the best available scientific information relating to weather, water and climate.
The Policy Program promotes understanding and use of science and services relating to weather, water, and climate. Our goal is to help the nation, and the world, avoid risks and realize opportunities associated with the Earth system.
